Shipping & Return Policy
AVAILABILITY

We have lei material available year-round but it is subject to a first come first serve availability. Someone may have ordered and committed to the months available supply so it is important that you order your lei as far in advance as possible. This is more important during the Merry Monarch and Graduation seasons. However; current production levels are sufficient that we do not normally foresee a problem in filling your need. We may not always be able to accommodate a last-minute request but we will try if it is practical. Call us! We ask that you give us 7-10 business days advance notice so we can plan the making of your lei and its delivery or shipment. For very large orders; as with Merry Monarch halau; two or more MONTHS is best and a deposit is required. This will guarantee that material for your lei is reserved and blocked off for your order. We understand that most people request only one or two lei at a time.

SHIPPING POLICY
​
On Island – you pick up at prearranged time – no shipping/freight charges. A service charge for gas and time can be worked out if you need the lei delivered to you.
Neighbor Islands – shipped overnight via Federal Express. Shipping cost will be added to your invoice. Care instructions included.

U.S. Mainland – via Federal Express. All lei are inspected and stamped for delivery to US mainland outfits. Deliveries to West Coast cities can usually be done overnight. Anywhere else in the US Mainland is usually second day delivery. Plan to have your lei arrive at least one or two days before the event. This allows time for re-chilling and freshening the lei before it is presented. Shipping cost will be added to your invoice. Care instructions included.
Foreign countries or territories – Shipping and customs charges will apply. Not all countries may accept the lei.

RETURN POLICY
​
All lei are made as close to shipping day as possible. All lei are chilled overnight to assure their freshness and integrity. We do insure the shipment with Fed Ex but we cannot be responsible for the lei once it is delivered. Always keep your lei(s) cooled to maintain freshness. They normally keep for a week or longer if they are cared for per our care instructions. If there is a problem call us at (808) 271-4572.

PAYMENT METHOD
​
Payment must be made before delivery. Deposit is required for multi-lei orders and payment is due 30 days prior to requested ship date (see deposit policy below).

DEPOSIT
​
Deposits of 50% of the cost of the lei are required for orders of five or more lei. Deposit fully refunded if order cancelled 45 days before the requested delivery date. A refund of 50% of the deposit will be made for orders cancelled 31 to 45 days prior to requested date. Deposit and payment is not refunded if less than 30 days remain before requested date. Blocks of material are saved for multiple orders and sales are turned away.

SPECIAL SITUATIONS:
Halau, Organizations (such as clubs or groups), and Schools. We are willing to work out special arrangements in certain instances including making your own lei for your use or for your fundraising activities. You purchase the raw material stripped and ready to make your own lei.
